Heritage Walk is a new programme started by the B.P Koirala India-Nepal Foundation. The programme entails a ‘walk’ along different heritage sites in different locations of Nepal. An expert/eminent personality, who can enlighten the group regarding the history and cultural significance of the heritage sites, will lead a group of 15-20 persons. Announcements for the participation in the walk will be made through social media and selection of group will be on first-come-first-serve basis keeping in mind the profile of the participants. The programme aims at creating awareness and appreciation for the cultural heritage of Nepal amongst Nepalese and foreigners alike. This programme will help the participants know more about the culture, crafts, architecture and the traditions of Nepal. The heritage sites will include places like Kathmandu Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square and etc.
