BPKF in association with Nepal Art Council organized an ‘Art Exchange Program’. Six –artists from Cholamandal Artist’s Village, Chennai came to Kathmandu to participate in a 2-day workshop. The outcome of the workshop was presented in an exhibition at the Bagmati Art Gallery at Nepal Art Council. The exhibition lasted for 2 weeks.
A programme on ‘India –Nepal Artisans Exchange’ was organized on 25th January 2023 at the premises of embassy. Artisans/exhibitors from India and Nepal participated in the event and displayed various local products from India and Nepal including handicrafts. BPKF funded the local accommodation of the Indian artists participating in the event.

Ms. Sita Devi Karna has done a wonderful folk mural painting on one of the Embassy’s wall under the guidance of Ms. Ragini Upadhyay- Board Member of BPKF. The painting depicts the marriage rituals of Ram-Sita. BPKF supported Ms. Karna and two accompanying artists with an amount of NPR 70,000/- for her work.
