A three-day tri-nation drama festival organized by the Drama Department of the Nepal Academy of Music and Drama concluded in Kathmandu after staging plays from Nepal and India. The festival aimed to promote cultural exchange between Nepal and India. The event featured the Nepali play Akshyata, which portrayed caste discrimination and social exclusion in Karnali Province, the Indian play Home in a Suitcase, which explored migration, identity, and the search for belonging. The festival concluded with a play title ‘Shakuni: The Final Question’, directed by renowned theatre personality Daulat Ram Vaid that presented the mythological character Shakuni through a unique and thought-provoking perspective. Held at Kantipur Theatre in collaboration with Kathmandu Metropolitan City and the B.P.
