Capacity-Building Visit of Purbanchal University Delegation to India

The B.P. Koirala India–Nepal Foundation supported Purbanchal University in conducting a capacity-building and observation visit to leading higher education institutions in India for its faculty members and senior administrative officials. The programme was carried out in two phases from 27 April to 4 May 2026 and from 11 to 18 May 2026, with the participation of 28 faculty members, department heads, senior administrative officials, and staff members.

During the visit, the delegation visited Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi; Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi; and Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. The programme provided exposure to institutional practices related to quality assurance systems, accreditation processes, governance mechanisms, and university administration. It also helped strengthen academic cooperation and institutional linkages between Nepal and India in the field of higher education.
