BPKF in association with Maiti Nepal celebrated International Women Day on 6 March under the theme of “Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress & Inspire Inclusion”. Ms Menuka Paudel & Mrs. Ratna Kumari Sunuwar were felicitated for their inspiring achievements in the programme. Ms Menuka Paudel through her singing talent has won accolades in Nepal & India. Mrs Ratna Sunuwar made headlines after she passed class 12 at age of 80.  Mrs Ashta Lakshmi Shakya, the first woman Chief Minister of Nepal graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Mr Prasanna Shrivastava, Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of India, Kathmandu, also attended the celebrations along with Ms Anuradha Koirala, founder of Maiti Nepal. Ms Menuka Paudel also performed at the event.
